The Texas A&M University NAMA organization is an accredited student chapter of the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA), an organization of professionals in marketing, sales, advertising, communications and public relations. NAMA is associated with agribusiness and our nation's food and fiber industry. The organization strives to help students grow through professional and personal development.
Student members get to learn firsthand from industry professionals about the various career opportunities available in agribusiness. In addition, the students develop valuable personal contacts and establish working relationships with agribusiness professionals. These contacts provide access to internships, job referrals, business recommendations and career opportunities. The chapter also provides opportunities for students to develop and practice their managerial and leadership skills.
